Nutrient dense foods to include in the daily diet

Most individuals are not getting enough nutrients from the food they eat and are consuming the “wrong” foods. My philosophy mirrors that of the traditional diet based on the research of Dr. Weston A. Price, the dentist in the 1930’s who went around the world investigating the diets of various groups of people. Most of these diets included whole grains, small amounts of organic grass-fed meat/fish, fresh vegetables and fruits, nuts, seeds, eggs, high quality yogurt and fermented foods.
Each meal should contain 50-60% whole grain, cooked and/or raw vegetable salad, 25-30% protein (animal and/or plant) and a very small quantity of fermented food. (either saurkraut or kimchi, kefir or sour yogurt) Eating in this mannerism will supply you with a rich source of vitamins and minerals. The small amount of fermented food will flood the intestinal tract with healthy bacteria such as acidophillus and bifidus cultures. Your body will reap the benefits and you will notice a peak in your energy, weight will stabilize and a decrease in illness and degenerative disease.
I bid you fare eating!
